March 12, 2020

In light of the continuing uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 virus and its impact on New York City, the Board of Directors of the Society has decided to suspend all classes and events at the Center until further notice.  Our priority is to keep all students and teachers safe and healthy and do our part to limit any potential spread of the virus, thus protecting our family, friends and neighbors.

This is a very challenging time--we all have to stay alert and take measures to protect ourselves and the community. Beyond the difficulties, this is an opportunity for us to assess what is truly important in our lives. We will need to be flexible to cope with this temporary disruption of our routines.

The Board will be monitoring all new information on the spread of the virus and assessing when we can resume classes. Until then, please continue your practice, to not only stay healthy but to keep your practice strong.

Thank you for your understanding.

With compassion, patience and perseverance,

The Board of Directors
